This is a very common question and we can help in the following ways

• We do not charge for blank tapes
• If you specify on the form you do not want TV then  we check the first few minutes of the tape and if it is TV then we we will abort and not charge you. it is not unusual for VHS and VHC-C tapes to have TV recording on them
• If the quality is poor and below average for the media will send you a sample and ask if you still wish to go ahead and if not , those items will not be chargeable

If you do want TV as some customer do then we will transfer it

We operate a queue system and on average there are 200 items in queue , which means standard service to reach the top of the queue and be completed is 2-3 weeks. However we recognise that some customers need the items urgently and for this we offer an express within 48 hour service, this costs an extra £7.50 per tape/disc/reel , you can split your order between standard an express. You need to specify express on the form to enclose with order

The quality you get will be entirely dependent on the media you provide, so for example VHS will look like VHS to the trained eye and Cine will look like cine

We are currently testing AI up scaling if you are interested please advise on the form and we will send you a sample of your tapes

Maximum 20 minutes footage

For videos we do MP4 as the standard , we can do other formats if required but , MP4 is the best option

For audio we usually transfer to MP3 but can do WAV on request for no extra charge
